How thick can gold plating on brass be?

Thickness is requested per SKU. Common working ranges: flash under 0.5 µm, standard 0.5–1.0 µm, heavy 1.5–2.5 µm, and 2.5 µm+ for vermeil over 925 silver. The exact number, measured points and test method should be written into the sample confirmation.

Will gold plated brass tarnish?

Plated brass can change over time with sweat, water, perfume and friction.
